The First Day of '09

Jan. 1, 2009...I woke up today in a funk. I should of gotten up this morning full of optimism for the new year, but my mind succumbed to the wrong thoughts about work and relationships. Many times I get wrapped up in negative realities even though I know that focusing on such things is wasted energy. Fortunately, I actually reached out to a friend and shared some laughs, that pulled me out of the funk and brought optimism back to my mental....On a final beautiful note, my uncle had is first child on 12/31, he is so happy and I'm ecstatic for him, he deserves this joy, he is a wonderful man and he is going to be a great father...CONGRATULATIONS UNCLE JOHNNY!!!!!!

Bay 2 L.A.

I've finally returned back to SoCal. I'm saying finally like I couldn't wait to leave the Bay Area. That certainly is not the case. I love the Bay, that my home, the vibe is right, my family and friends are great, it would good to be up there this week. For the first time in a long time I almost saw all of my friends and family. Normally when I hit the Bay I only end up seeing a few folks, this time I was a man with a plan (Nab, Bret, Charles...we'll connect next time I'm up for sure), have my visits mapped out and on a schedule. I really need to get up there more, I wanna move back, but have businees to handle down here first...Everything in time.
